Complete online training material

Both our ACLS certification (cert) and recertification (recert) courses include comprehensive online training material based on the current AHA ACLS Provider Manual. The training material covers everything you'll need to know to successfully pass the exam, so you will not need anything else to prepare.

Online exam with instant grading

Our cert and recert courses each include an online exam that is designed to be easy to read and complete. The exams, like the online training material, test your knowledge about major Advanced Cardiac Life Support concepts and techniques. A score of 80% or better is required to successfully pass.

Exams are graded automatically as soon as they have been submitted. You will receive instant notification after you submit your answers to let you know if you passed the exam. If you did not, you will receive an automatic email from the system with a list of all missed questions. You can then study the appropriate sections in the online training material and retake the exam.

Email certificate available

A $15 option for both our cert and recert classes is an email card for same day use. The email card is an Adobe PDF document that will be emailed to you within 1 business day once you pass the exam. You can then print the card and use it until you receive your hard copy card in the mail. This is a convenient option for anybody who needs proof of their certification as quickly as possible.

CEH available after course completion

Pacific Medical Training is accredited through CECBEMS and offers CEH to customers who successfully complete our online courses. Customers who successfully complete our certification course will be eligible for 5 CEH, and customers who successfully complete our recertification course will be eligible for 4 CEH. Pacific Medical Training and our online courses are accredited through CECBEMS. CECBEMS is an organization established to develop and implement policies to standardize the review and approval of EMS continuing education activities. The sponsoring organizations of CECBEMS are, the American College of Emergency Physicians , National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians National Association of Emergency Medical Services Physicians, National Association of State Emergency Medical Services Directors, National Council of State Emergency Medical Services Training Coordinators, the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, the National Association of EMS Educators, and the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians.

Three free exam retakes if you don't pass on your first attempt

Three free exam retakes are included with our online courses in case you do not successfully pass the exam the first time you take it. If you do not pass on your first attempt, you will receive an email with a list of the questions you missed so you can study for them using the online training material and pass the test on your next attempt.

Free hard copy card mailed to you

Once you successfully pass the exam for your course, we will mail you an ACLS card. The card will have your name on it, plus the initial completion date (the day you pass the exam) and the expiration date. Cards are valid for a period of two years from when they were initially issued. Cards are normally mailed by USPS First Class mail, so they generally take between 2 and 5 business days to arrive. Next Day shipping is also available for an additional $35.
