There are several purchase options you can select if you'd like during the purchase process:
- Next Day Shipping for Provider Manual
If you need your ACLS Provider Manual faster than the 2-5 business days it takes with regular mail, Next Day shipping is available for an additional $30.
- Next Day Shipping for Hard Copy Card
If you need your hard copy card quickly, select this option and your certification card will be mailed via Next Day shipping instead of standard USPS First Class (ground) shipping. There is a $30 fee for Next Day shipping.
- Remove AHA ACLS Provider Manual (Certification Course Only)
If you already have study materials, you can select this option to reduce the cost of the ACLS Certification course by $50.
- AHA ACLS Provider Manual (Recertification Course Only)
If want to purchase the ACLS Recertification course and you need study material, then the AHA ACLS Provider Manual is available for an additional $50. This is the exact book that the exam questions are based on, so it is the perfect study aide if you need to brush up on your ACLS knowledge.
Our course uses a simple online exam that is designed to be easy to read and complete. The exam is made up of 50 questions about Advanced Cardiac Life Support, including 40 questions about the BLS Primary Survey, ACLS Secondary Survey and Critical Cases, plus 10 questions about recognizing common ECG rhythms. A score of 80% or better is required to successfully pass the exam. Exams are graded automatically and an email with your results will be sent to you within several minutes of submitting your answers.
For your convenience, a printable version of the exam is also available in case you would prefer to print it out and fill out the answers away from the computer. You can then come back and submit your answers online later. Our course does not use any complicated login or password process, and there is no time limit for taking the exam.
Note: Three free exam retakes are included in case you do not successfully pass the exam the first time you take it. If you do not pass on your first attempt, we will contact you with information about the questions you missed so you can pass the test on your next attempt.
Once you successfully pass the email, we send you an email card within 1 business day for you to use while you're waiting for your hard copy card. The email card is an Adobe PDF, so you can view and print it using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software program.
Once you successfully pass the exam, we will mail your hard copy card to you. The card will have your name on it, plus the initial completion date and the expiration date. Cards are valid for a period of two years from when they were initially issued. Cards are normally mailed by USPS First Class mail, so they generally take between 2 and 5 business days to arrive. If you've selected Next Day shipping, then your card will arrive in 1 business day.
