1. Can I take your course for my initial ACLS certification?

2. Can I take your course if I have been certified in the past?
Yes. Our ACLS Recertification Course is designed for medical professionals who have already been certified in the past. This course includes complete online training material, online exam with instant grading, 3 free exam retakes, hard copy certification card and free shipping for your hard copy certification card.
3. Can I take your course if my ACLS certification has expired?
Yes. You can take our ACLS Recertification Course whether your previous certification is active or expired.
4. Does your course include online training material?
Yes, both our certification and recertification courses include complete online training material created by a professional medical coursewriter and reviewed by an MD. You will not need any other training material for our courses.
5. Is your course accredited?
Yes, our online ACLS courses are fully accredited and endorsed by CECBEMS. Customers who complete our online ACLS certification course will be eligible to receive 5 CEH, and customers who complete our online ACLS recertification course will be eligible to receive 4 CEH. 6. How do I submit my answers for the exam?
All the exam questions are multiple choice, so you select the correct answer underneath each exam question. Once you've selected all your answers on the page, then you submit them by clicking a Submit Answers button and they will be graded instantly.
If you do not pass on your first attempt, you will receive an email with a list of the questions you missed so you can study for them using the online training material and pass the test on your next attempt.
7. Is there a time limit for taking the exam?
No. You can spend as much time on the exam as you need. In fact, we encourage you to not rush through the exam too quickly, but to answer each question methodically and then double-check your answers.
8. How quickly will my answers be graded?
Your answers will be graded automatically as soon as they have been submitted.
9. What happens if I don't pass the exam?
If you do not pass on your first attempt, you will receive an email with a list of the questions you missed so you can study for them using the online training material and pass the test on your next attempt.
10. Will I receive an American Heart Association ACLS card after I pass the exam?
No. The American Heart Association does not currently endorse ANY online-only certification or recertification course. When you complete one of our online courses you will receive an ACLS card from Pacific Medical Training. In general, our online courses will work fine for you if your employer does not specifically mandate AHA certification.
11. When will I receive my ACLS card?
Cards are normally mailed by USPS First Class mail, so they generally take between 2 and 5 business days to arrive. If you are in a time crunch, Next Day shipping is available for an extra $35.
12. How long will my certification be good for?
Your certification will be good for 2 years.
